About

Barbara Wright is a seventy-year-old Jesus Movement convert. Her writing is genuine and warm, full of love and encouragement as she shares her love of people and God. When her husband Randy left for heaven suddenly some of his last words to her were “Write life, Baby. You can write life.” That’s the passion she’s following.

She holds a BA in Sociology from the University of SC. She worked in social services from 1977 to 2022. As founder and director of three adult day programs for elderly and special needs adults, serving 450 people, she had the privilege of sharing love, laughter, care, and encouragement to these individuals all of their families who were so often overlooked by our society. Watching the grands follow their passions from volley and basketball to barrel racing, music, art, and baking fills her with great joy.

Barbara encourages everyone with the certainty that the 4th Quarter of life is an adventure full of love and stretching. Most of all full of meaning as you learn to see Jesus pursuing and walking with you in everyday minutes.
